THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police conducted a lightning search at various spa centers in Thiruvananthapuram city. The search was based on a tip-off that drugs are being sold at illegal establishments. The search is being conducted at various massage parlors and spa centers in the city. An employee was caught with MDMA from a spa center in Kazhakoottam last week. More information was obtained when she was interrogated.

The woman had then given a statement that drugs were being sold at spa centers. Searches were conducted at the university hostel and the medical college hostel by the police and excise.
