ALAPPUZHA: A 50-year-old woman in Arookutty was bludgeoned to death with a hammer by her neighbour. The dead is Vanaja of Arookutty. The murder was in between a dispute with her neighbour. Her neighbour Vijeesh and his brother Jayesh are absconding. The incident happened at around 10.30 pm last night. Vanaja, who was injured in the attack, was taken to the hospital but could not be saved. Police said there had been disputes between them before.
