THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With two days left before the women CPO rank list expires, 45 candidates, including three who were on strike, received an advice memo. Priya, Aruna, and Anjali, who participated in the strike, received the advice memo.
The decision to make the appointment was made after 45 vacancies arose in various categories. The appointments were made to the vacancies that came up: 28 from the POCSO category, 13 who left the police academy at various times, and four who had not entered the job.
Those yet to receive the advice memo will continue their strike in front of the secretariat. The validity of the women's CPO rank list ends tomorrow at noon. The rankholders have been protesting in front of the secretariat for the last 17 days with various agitations.
Candidates vehemently opposed the Chief Minister's caustic statement that all eligible candidates have been appointed. The hopes of more than 500 candidates' are on the verge of getting dashed when the rank list expires tomorrow.
