Srividya’s death and personal assets keep stirring up drama. Her relatives have long accused actor-politician KB Ganesh Kumar of taking ownership of her assets. Now, Ganesh Kumar is finally speaking up. He claims the late actress didn’t leave him anything personally. In a chat with Indian Express Malayalam, he said, “Not even a single needle is in my name.”
Ganesh Kumar wants a memorial for Srividya, who spent her final time period in Kerala. He says her will named him to handle her legacy, but insists no one—including him—owns her assets. “She spelled out how to preserve her memory in the will. I’ve been unfairly dragged through the mud over this. The will doesn’t give me rights to even a spoon,” he explained.
He also brought up old tax troubles. Srividya’s properties got frozen right after her death over unpaid taxes. Her Chennai flat was sold off to cover dues, but other assets remain locked up. Ganesh Kumar says we’ve gone to court to get these released.
