KOCHI: Actor Shine Tom Chacko is all set to move the court against the action of the police registering FIR in the drug case. The actor has approached lawyers seeking the possibility of quashing the FIR. It is reported that legal action may be initiated after the results of the scientific examination of his blood are obtained. If the results are in favour of the actor, he will approach the high court with the argument that the police have filed a false case. He will appear for interrogation again tomorrow.

Despite the controversies, Shine Tom Chacko's Easter greetings to his fans through a Facebook post are also being discussed. Shine has wished Easter greetings by sharing the poster of his new film Angel No 16. Shine Tom Chacko told police yesterday that use of drugs is rampant in the Malayalam film industry. He told police that many top actors use drugs. Shine clarified that only he and another actor are accused of using drugs.

The police have taken Shine's phone into custody to get more information. They have also found mysterious money transactions of the actor. The move is to investigate further. The suspicion lies in the transactions between Rs 2000 and Rs 5000 handed over to individuals. A detailed examination will be conducted on 14 such transactions that happened recently. It is suspected that these transactions were money transfers for drugs. However, Shine explains that this is the money that he lent to many people.

Meantime, the film chamber will meet in Kochi tomorrow to discuss issues related to Shine's use of drugs at the shooting location. It is reported that the chamber may recommend film organizations to keep Shine away from films in the wake of the controversies. The meeting to be held in Kochi tomorrow will be attended by the crew of the Soothravakyam film, ICC members of the film, etc. The action will be taken after hearing actress Vincy and Shine Tom Chacko. The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has also sought an explanation from Shine Tom Chacko. He has been directed to explain by Monday.
