PALAKKAD: In a frightening incident, a youngster barged into his in-laws’ house and hacked his wife’s parents. The incident took place in Pirayiri in Palakkad on Monday. Molly (65) and Terry (70) suffered serious injuries in the incident. They are currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital.

Their son-in-law, Rinoy, who committed the attack, went into hiding.

The incident took place around 1 pm today. Rinoy smeared chilli powder on his in-laws' and attacked them. Recently, Rinoy’s wife, Reshma, filed a case in court seeking divorce. Incensed over this, the family had been facing constant death threats from Rinoy. On Monday, Reshma was returning home after filing a case for domestic abuse when she saw her parents lying in blood.
