THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state has received yet another bomb threat. The message received said bombs will be planted in Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's office, official residence Cliff House and Raj Bhavan. The message was sent to the emails of finance secretary and the chief minister's private secretary. A threat message was also received at the office of the transport commissioner in Thiruvananthapuram and Nedumbassery airport. The message said that there will be an explosion within two and a half hours. The initial search conducted by the police at the bomb threat places has not found anything suspicious.

Bomb threats were received in various parts of the state in the last two days. The police have confirmed that all the messages are from the same address. There was a bomb threat at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and Thampanoor Railway Station yesterday. The threat message was sent to the email of the airport manager. In the wake of this, searches were intensified at the airport. A bomb squad was also called in to check the railway station.

Bomb threats were received at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram and Gokulam Grand Hotel in Akkulam. Police dogs were brought in to inspect, but nothing was found. Bomb threats were also received at various collectorates in the state. Although searches were intensified, nothing was found. The threat message was received in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Palakkad and Kottayam collectorates.
