THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the remarks of Minister V N Vasavan about Gautam Adani during the commissioning function of Vizhinjam port. Minister Vasavan described Gautam Adani as a partner of the government in his welcome speech. Rs 11 crore was distributed to 2976 people suffering social trauma in Vizhinjam. Minister V N Vasavan had said that welfare activities using Adani's CSR funds and welfare activities at the state government level are progressing. The willpower of the first and second Pinarayi governments is behind the completion of the port. Vasavan added in his welcome speech that Vizhinjam has also proven that where nothing is possible in our country, everything is possible.

Private participation should be given due consideration to reach heights, including in the development of the maritime sector. The Prime Minister said that crores of rupees have been invested in the country in the last ten years through public-private partnerships.
