PATHANAMTHITTA: A man has been arrested for raping and impregnating his 14-year-old minor daughter at Perumpetty in Pathanamthitta. The arrested is 43-year-old man of Kattappana. The lab authorities informed the police after confirming her pregnancy.

The girl was found to be pregnant in a medical examination conducted by the family, who grew suspicious. The girl, who is studying in the eighth standard is presently seven weeks pregnant. The investigation officers have recorded the girl's statement. The police said the girl will be subjected for a counseling.
