PATHANAMTHITTA: A young man tragically lost his life in a road accident in Pathanamthitta. The deceased has been identified as Aneesh (32), known locally as Ebin, from Athirumkal. The accident occurred near Inchappara on the Punalur–Muvattupuzha road. Aneesh was riding a bike when he collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction while overtaking a private bus.

Due to the impact of the collision, Aneesh was thrown under the private bus. Baiju (32) from Pothupara, who was travelling with him, sustained injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Konni.

Shaji George, a passenger on the bike that collided with Aneesh’s, was also injured and admitted to a private hospital in Pathanapuram. The accident happened around 7 PM on Friday near Inchappara.

The collision occurred when the bike travelling from Koodal region to Pathanamthitta collided with another bike travelling in the opposite direction while attempting to overtake a private bus. Aneesh passed away at a private hospital in Konni. He is survived by his mother Sudha, wife Manasa, and their only daughter Ameya.
