THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that isolated places in Kerala are likely to experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms today, along with strong winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 km/h. Isolated places in Kerala are likely to experience thunderstorms with rain and strong winds at speeds of 30 to 40 km/h from tomorrow until the 10th of this month.

The IMD has also stated that this year's monsoon is likely to reach parts of the South Andaman Sea, southeast Bay of Bengal, and the Nicobar Islands by the 13th of May (13/05/2025).
