THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Taluk conference of the Kerala Co-operative Service Pensioners Association urged the government to immediately reinstate the dearness allowance, which was frozen in 2021. The conference was held on May 4 at the EMS Auditorium in the Kerala Bank Regional Office, Thiruvananthapuram, and was inaugurated by Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayat President D. Suresh Kumar.

The conference was presided over by Taluk President B. Ravindran Nair. At the event, State Committee member N. Pankajakshan presented the organisational report, Taluk Secretary P.S. Anil Kumar delivered the activity report, and D. Jayakumar presented the income and expenditure statement.

State Secretary S. Uma Chandrababu, District President V. Gireeshan, State Committee members S. Ratnanamani, K. Vijayakumaran Nair, A. Abdul Salam, District Committee member M.K. Radhakrishnan, and various organizational leaders including V. Suresh Kumar, V.N. Vinod Kumar, P. Prakash, and P.S. Pradeep Kumar also addressed the gathering.

The conference unanimously elected a 15-member Taluk Committee and a 10-member District Council. The office bearers are:
