THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of the India-Pakistan tension, it has been decided to curtail the celebrations associated with the fourth anniversary of the Kerala state government. It was decided to issue a warning in the state of Kerala in an urgent online cabinet meeting.
The Chief Minister has been tasked with taking a decision based on the situation. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had responded this morning that all Indians should stand with the country in the ongoing tensions and that the country is defending Pakistan's attack in a good manner. The Chief Minister said that the country is facing an extremely serious situation. The Chief Minister said this while inaugurating the Kannur district-level meeting organised as part of the fourth anniversary program of the second Pinarayi government.
"India is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan's terrorist activities. What the people need to do now is to stand united with the country. The country is defending Pakistan's attack in a good manner. Efforts are being made to undermine our sovereignty. It is very important to stand with all the steps taken by the country. India wants to continue good relations with its neighbouring countries. However, Pakistan is moving things in the opposite direction," the Chief Minister said.
