Malayalam actor Vineeth recently met his former co-star Preeti Jhangiani, nostalgically recalling memories from 25 years ago. The duo had shared screen space in the 1999 film Mazhavillu, where Preeti made her debut opposite Kunchacko Boban. Vineeth had portrayed an antagonist in the film.

Preeti Jhangiani, who rose to fame through popular television commercials—most notably a soap advertisement—had only one appearance as a lead actress in Malayalam cinema. Prior to her Malayalam debut, she had acted in a Telugu film. At the time, she faced criticism over her lack of "Malayalitham" or traditional Malayalee appeal.

Vineeth took to social media to share a photograph of their recent reunion in Dubai, recalling fond memories from their time working together on Mazhavillu.

Now far removed from the film industry, Preeti is deeply engaged in the world of arm wrestling. She currently serves as the President of the People’s Armwrestling Federation India and the Vice President of the Asian Armwrestling Federation. Additionally, she manages an organisation linked to the sport. Preeti has not appeared in any films since 2017.

In her personal life, Preeti is married to actor Parvin Dabas. The couple met on the sets of the 2006 film With Love Tumhara and tied the knot in 2008. They have two sons and reside in Bandra, Mumbai.
