MALAPPURAM: P V Anwar said the Nilambur by-election will be a response to Pinarayism. The election will give an answer to Pinarayi's family rule. P V Anvar told a media that the Nilambur by-election result will ensure that Pinarayi will not come for the third time.

'Even if Pinarayi Vijayan contests in Nilambur, he will not win. Then how can you expect an independent to win. What has the government celebrating its fourth anniversary, done for Kerala? Apart from providing facilities to corporates and the rich, there is no answer to the problems faced by the people. I will provide unconditional support to whoever the UDF candidate is,' said P V Anvar.

The Nilambur by-election is on June 19 and the votes will be counted on June 23. Elections will be held in five places in the country, including Nilambur. The last day to file nominations is June 2. Scrutiny will be on June 3. The last date for withdrawing nomination is June 5. The by-election in Nilambur is being held to fill the vacancy after the resignation of Anvar.
