TEXAS: Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship crashed into the Indian Ocean without achieving its objective. The test launch of the Starship mega-rocket- considered the largest, most powerful, heaviest, and most payload-capable rocket in history- took place early this morning. However, the rocket lost control about 30 minutes after launch. SpaceX confirmed that the Starship broke apart before reaching its intended destination.

The launch took place from Starbase in Boca Chica, South Texas. The 7th and 8th test launches of Starship had also failed. Therefore, several modifications were made to prepare for the 9th test. It's still not clear where the rocket came down in the Indian Ocean.
