NILAMBUR: LDF candidate M Swaraj received a rousing welcome upon his arrival in poll-bound Nilambur on Saturday morning. Hundreds of people arrived at the railway station to welcome the former MLA. Red flags enveloped the station as Swaraj walked past throngs of supporters amidst thunderous slogans.
"People across Nilambur, devoid of political views, arrived here to welcome me. It is heartening nonetheless. Anvar is not a bane to LDF but is causing headaches to UDF. The support from commoners and people with different political views is testimony to the trust they have in the development progress of the LDF government. Politics should be for the betterment of Kerala.
The left preaches the politics of development and harmonious existence. A victory is around the corner in Nilambur for LDF. This will be the turning point for the 2026 assembly elections. To continue with the development progress and to bring the promised change, a third LDF government is a necessity in Kerala.” Said M Swaraj.
