KOCHI: Actor Unni Mukundan's anticipatory bail application was disposed of in the case of assaulting his former manager. The petition was disposed of after the prosecution informed the court about an FIR containing charges that had provisions to allow station bail for the accused. The Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court recorded that the charges against the actor were bailable. The prosecution had presented the case diary in connection with the case.

In the meanwhile, Unni Mukundan has called a press conference today. Unni’s former associate Vipin Kumar had filed a complaint with Info Park police a week back alleging brutal assault from the actor. Vipin also assured that he had CCTV footage of the assault. Unni Mukundan meanwhile filed a complaint with the DGP, demanding an investigation into the purported conspiracy ongoing to taint his repute in society.

Vipin alleged that Unni Mukundan roughed him up for giving a positive review to actor Tovino Thomas' film 'Narivetta'.

Unni Mukundan meanwhile denied all allegations against him and said he would cooperate with any investigation.
