MALAPPURAM: Trinamool Congress leader P V Anwar is coming with a new political front. P V Anvar will contest in Nilambur under the banner of the new front named Janakeeya Prathipaksha Prathirodha Munnani. Trinamool Congress will support the new front. The move is part of the formation of a third front. Aam Aadmi Party is likely to be a part of the new front.

Anvar had informed that he would contest the Nilambur by-election under the Trinamool symbol. He also clarified that if he does not get the symbol, he will contest under the independent symbol. Ahead of filing his nomination, a road show is being held in Nilambur under the leadership of Anvar.

Anvar said that there is a strong contest in Nilambur. He claimed that he will stand with the people and that his strength is the people. He said that he will defeat both the fronts in the election. Majority cannot be predicted now. It is not possible to say now who will be affected if he is contesting. Anvar said the voters of both fronts will be with him. An apt reply will be given to the chief minister for addressing him as a betrayer. The people will defeat the betrayers. Anvar had also stated that this time the contest will be beneficial for the people.

With this, Nilambur has become the most debated bypolls in Kerala. A tight fight will be witnessed here. M Swaraj is the LDF candidate, Aryadan Shoukath for UDF, Advocate Mohan George for BJP and P V Anvar for Trinamool Congress are in the fray. Advocate Sadiq Naduthodi is also in the fray for SDPI.
