THRISSUR: The District Sessions Court will pronounce its verdict on Tuesday on the application filed by the investigation team to bring back Livia, the sister of Sheela Sunny's daughter-in-law, in the fake drug case. The legal action comes after the special team asked Livia, who works in Dubai, to return home as soon as possible. Livia has not yet responded to the queries.

The investigation team has applied to cancel her passport. If for any unfavourable verdict from the court, Livia will have to return home from abroad.

The investigation is being led by Kodungallur DySP VK Raju. The main accused in the case, T.M.N. Narayana Das, a native of Eroor, Tripunithura, is in remand. The investigation team found six hundred calls made between Livia and Narayana Das in the recent past and even unearthed a conspiracy the two planned to incriminate Sheela Sunny.

Sheela Sunny was arrested in the fake drug case on February 27, 2023. Despite being innocent, she spent 72 days in jail.
