SIVAGIRI: The centenary celebrations of the Aluva Sarvamatha Sammelanam(All Religion Conference) will be held in October at the Australian Parliament House. The idea was raised during a meeting between a parliamentary delegation from Victoria, Australia, who visited Sivagiri Mutt, and Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust President Swami Sachidananda, General Secretary Swami Shubhangananda, Treasurer Swami Sharadananda, and Trust Board Member Swami Sukshananda.
Australian Government Chief Whip Lee Reginald Tarlamis OAM, Deputy Whip Belinda Wilson and Juliana Addison met the Sanyasis. Sanyasi community conveyed that the centenary celebrations of the All-Religious Conference held by Gurudeva at the Aluva Advaita Ashram 100 years ago in the light of the vision of "Whatever be the religion, it is enough if man becomes good", "One Caste, One Religion, One God for man", were held in the Vatican, London and Delhi. The group then expressed interest in arranging facilities to hold the centenary celebrations at the Australian Parliament House. The celebrations will be held in collaboration with the Sree Narayana Mission operating in Melbourne and other Malayali organizations.
