THRISSUR: A 36-year-old woman was found dead inside her rented house in Varandarappilly. The dead is Divya, wife of Kunjumon (40). It is suspected that Kunjumon suffocated Divya to death. Some marks were seen on her neck. Kunjumon suspected Divya of having an affair with an employee of a textiles shop. A dispute over this led to the murder.

Kunjumon informed his relatives that his wife died of a chest pain. However, during the inquest, suspicion arose and the police took him into custody. Varandarappilly police are investigating with the help of the forensic department.
