KOCHI: Actor Mammootty’s father-in-law P S Abu passed away Wednesday morning at 9 am following old age issues. He was former Ilaya Kovilakam Mahallu president.
He was undergoing treatment for some time due to old age issues. He was staying in Mattancherry Star Junction.

He will be laid to rest at 8 pm at Chembittapally Juma Masjid. He is the son of late Sulaiman Sahib of Payattu Paramba House and late Amina.

His wife Nabeesa died in 2020 when she was 78 years old. He leaves behind his children Aziz, Sulfath, Razia, Saujath, and sons and daughters-in-laws Mammootty (P I Muhammad Kutty), Salim, Zainuddin, Jameez Aseeb.
