ARYANAD: A newlywed bride was found hanging in her in-laws' house on Saturday in Thiruvananthapuram. Aparna (24) was found dead in her bedroom at House No. 9, Maria Nagar, Tholoor, Aryanad. On Friday night, Aparna's in-laws, who became suspicious after seeing her room locked for a long time sought a response from her but to no avail. This forced them to barge into the room only to see the young woman hanging from the fan.

Aparna has been married to her husband Akshay for about a year. Akshay is working abroad as a sound engineer. Aryanad Inspector V.S. Ajeesh announced that an investigation will be conducted into the cause of death.
