KOCHI: A postgraduate student committed suicide in Perumbavoor on Tuesday. Akshara (23), a native of Perumbavoor, was found hanging inside her room today morning. Reports suggest that the young woman feared the possibility of failing the exams and was in mental anguish for the last few days. Akshara was an MSW student at a private college in Kuruppampady.

A suicide note was also found in the room. In the note, Akshara mentioned how disappointed she was in not being able to perform the last day’s examination to her fullfillment. Police are not suspecting anything mysterious in the death.
