ALUVA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan said that he is not anti-Muslim and will speak the truth openly, no matter how much he is insulted. He was speaking at the branch leadership meeting in Aluva. Vellappally said amidst the cheers of the supporters that he was born in fire and will not wither in the sun.

"Rahim Associates of Kollam has been auditing SNDP Yogam's accounts for 30 years. If I am someone who checks religion, was there no Ezhavas to hand over this responsibility to? Hundreds of cases against Yogam are being handled by a lawyer named Nisar of Kollam. Rahim, a native of Malabar, is handling matters related to the colleges of the SN Trust. (Vellapally clarified his position by addressing Rahim, who was in the audience.) It was through Rahim that an application was submitted to the government to convert an unaided college of Yogam in Malappuram into an aided college. Without knowing this, some leaders of the Muslim League are spreading the news that we did not apply. In Malappuram district alone, the Muslim community owns as many colleges as those owned by SN Trust," said Vellappally.
