NEW DELHI: Agra police have busted a religious conversion racket with international links. The police also said that many of the girls in their trap were found to be communicating with people in Pakistan. 14 people have been arrested in connection with the case. They are being questioned. The police said that the gang used social media and online gaming platforms like Ludostar to trap the girls.

The money was transferred through crowdfunding and cryptocurrency. The police also found that money was transferred to and from Gaza through this. The money was controlled by a person named Rehman Qureshi. The gang is headed by Pakistani nationals Tanveer Ahmed and Sahil Adeem. They operate several WhatsApp and online groups from Pakistan. Religious matters were discussed in these groups.

The girls who converted from Hinduism to Islam were found to be in contact with men in Pakistan. These men were the ones who gave religious guidance to the girls. The police said that some Kashmiri girls were also involved in this.

The racket was operating under the name 'DAWAH'. The police said that their aim was to turn India into a Muslim nation by 2050. The group targeted girls suffering from family problems and mental stress. They got close to Hindu girls through online games. They communicated through 'Signal' and the dark web. They found victims in hospitals, police stations and courts. The group calls those who converted as 'reverts'.

Police said the leaders of the gang are Abdul Rehman from Delhi and Ayesha from Goa. Abdul Rehman, who converted in 1990, is reported to have links with terrorists in prison. Police also found that all the arrested persons have links with Rahman and Ayesha.
