THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Discussions on opening the vault B of the Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram have found their way back after a long idleness. The decision of the Thantri clan of the temple will be crucial before a final decision is reached.

The matter was discussed in a joint meeting of the governing body and the advisory committee held today. The discussion was initiated by a representative from the state government. However, the Thantri did not attend today's meeting. The Supreme Court had earlier directed the governing body to decide on the opening of the B vault.
