THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dr Haris Chirakkal of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital has stepped forward levelling serious allegations against the authorities. His serious allegation is that there is an attempt to trap and attack him personally and that the authorities have some other goal in locking the office room with another lock. The allegations were listed in a note to the office bearers of the Kerala Government Medical College Teachers' Association (KGMCTA). It is suspected that they are trying to trap him by manipulating things. His note said there are official confidential documents in the office room.
‘The principal opened the room and checked the machines and took photos and videos last Tuesday. The principal, superintendent, deputy superintendent, clerical staff, and biomedical staff went there and asked to open the room yesterday. After everyone went inside and checked, the room was locked with another lock. Why this was done should be investigated. The registers of stock, attendance and despatch, MCH examination papers, its video records, mark lists and other official confidential documents were also kept there. Personal attacks are being carried out during the investigation, stock inspection and auditing,’ the note said.
Meanwhile, there are reports of the principal admitting to opening and inspecting his room. Some equipment was found in the room and it has not been confirmed whether it was the missing equipment. A news channel reported that the principal said that a new lock was used to lock the room for security reasons.
