KOZHIKODE: Two sisters were found dead in a rented house on Florical Road, Karikkamkulam near Chevayoor in Kozhikode. The deceased have been identified as Sreeja (71) and Pushpa (66) from Moozhikkal. Their brother Pramod, who was living with them, is currently missing. The sisters had been residing in the rented house for the past three years.

Early this morning, around 5 am, Pramod informed relatives and friends about the deaths. When the relatives reached the house and checked, they discovered the bodies. The sisters were found dead in separate rooms, covered with white cloths, with only their heads visible. Despite several attempts, relatives were unable to contact Pramod. Neighbours said that Pramod’s phone rang at first when they called, but soon after, they received a message indicating that it was switched off.

Chevayoor police arrived at the scene and conducted investigations. Neighbours said Sreeja and Pushpa had recently sought treatment for some illnesses at a nearby hospital. Police traced Pramod’s phone location and found he was last seen in the Feroke area before his phone was switched off. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
