KOZHIKODE: Pramod, accused in the case of strangling his two elderly sisters to death, is suspected to have died. The police said the body found from Thalassery yesterday is suspected to be that of Pramod. The body was found from Kuyyali River. The police are conducting detailed investigations. It is believed that his relatives have identified the body.

Pramod was taking care of his sisters. The initial conclusion is that the murder was committed after he was unable to do so. Sreejaya (71) and Pushpa (66) of Moozhikkal Moolakandi were found dead in their rented house 'Pournami' on Florican Road in Karaikkamkulam near Chevayur. Their younger brother Pramod, went missing after informing his relatives about the death. The three had been living here for rent for the past three years. The postmortem report said the two were strangled to death.
