THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Authorities have said that there will be restrictions on train services in Kerala in the coming days due to maintenance work at the Kottayam yard. The restrictions will apply to train services from the 16th to the 31st. The Kottayam-Nilambur Express has been partially cancelled for five days. The Kottayam-Nilambur Daily Express will depart from Ettumanoor on 16, 17, 19, 23 and 29. There will be no service on the Kottayam-Ettumanoor route.
The Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram - Thane special train on the 26th will be delayed by 30 minutes. There is maintenance work on the rail line in Telangana. As part of the work, six trains through Kerala have been cancelled in October. The Gorakhpur - Thiruvananthapuram North Raptisagar Express on October 10 and 12 has been cancelled. The Thiruvananthapuram North - Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express on October 14 and 15 has also been cancelled.
The Thiruvananthapuram North - Korba Superfast Express has been cancelled on October 13 and 16. The paying train has also been cancelled on October 15 and 18. The Barauni - Ernakulam Junction Raptisagar Express on October 13 has also been cancelled. The return train on the 17th has also been cancelled.
