KOCHI: Popular social media personality Alin Jose Perera filed a complaint with the police against an Uber driver for alleged physical torture. In the complaint, Alin said he was severely thrashed inside the car, and the driver even tried to strangle him. Through a Facebook live, Alin confirmed filing a complaint with the police regarding the issue.

Alin Jose:

“I have known Ashish for the past two years. He threatened to eliminate my family. It was only because of sheer luck that I escaped from the car despite suffering such torture. Uber is used by people from all sections. What is the guarantee of their lives if the company continue to employ such people as drivers? I have never encountered such a situation in my life.’

Alin Jose also shared the photo of Ashish on his social media page. For the past two years, Alin Jose has been a ubiquitous face in front of cinema theatres in Kochi, where the youngster often goes histrionic when it comes to giving opinions on the movies. Alin Jose has recently starred in a few short films and is active on social media.
