PALAKKAD: An accused in a murder attempt case in Thrithala was caught from the attic of his house. The arrested is identified as Sulthan Rafi of Kanjirathani. The incident happened on August 4. The problems started after four youths teased his friend.

Rafi and his three friends then called the teased youths to their house and brutally beat them and stabbed them with a knife. The three accused with him were arrested earlier and released on bail.

Rafi is the first accused in the case. The police got Rafi's mobile tower location at around 11 pm last night. The mobile tower location was in the vicinity of Rafi's house. The locals had told police that he has a secret vault in his house. Based on this, the police reached his house. He was found hiding in the attic next to the kitchen cupboard where things were kept. Rafi is an accused in five cases.
