THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Electric scooter manufacturer River made a mega vehicle delivery on Chingam ahead of the Onam season. Almost 230 electric scooters were handed over to customers in a single day. River's popular model 'Indie' was delivered to stores in Kochi, Kollam, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad.

River Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Arvind Mani said, “We are delighted that Kerala has emerged as one of our most important markets. We consider it a great achievement to complete 230 deliveries this Onam. River is looking forward to opening new stores in cities like Kozhikode, Kottayam and Tirur in the coming months,” he added.

In a very short span, River has made a name for itself in the electric scooter segment in Kerala due to the utility-lifestyle nature of the Indie. There are currently over 2,000 Indie scooters on the roads of Kerala.
