PALAKKAD: In a tragic incident, a student collapsed and died during Onam celebrations at college. The deceased has been identified as Jeeva, a student of IHRD College, Agali, Palakkad.

The incident occurred soon after a tug-of-war competition held as part of the Onam celebrations. Jeeva collapsed suddenly following the competition. Although he was immediately rushed to the Agali Community Health Centre and later to the Kottathara Tribal Taluk Hospital, his life could not be saved.
