NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his late mother was verbally abused on the Congress-RJD rally. He said that his mother was verbally abused during the voter rights rally led by Rahul Gandhi in Bihar. Modi said that his mother was subjected to vile abuses and that she had nothing to do with politics.
'My mother is no longer in this world. Mother is our pride. I could not have even imagined the incident that happened a few days ago in this tradition-filled Bihar. My mother was abused at an RJD-Congress rally in Bihar. These abuses are not just insulting my mother. This is deeply saddening, painful and distressing, he said.
The slang used on a congress-RJD stage was not just for my mother but for crores of mothers and sisters. I know that the people of Bihar also feel the same pain as me. I separated from my mother to serve crores of mothers like you. My mother passed away at the age of 100. They verbally abused my mother, who had nothing to do with politics,' Modi said.
