KANNUR: Two people were found dead on an isolated place in Perinthatta. The dead have been identified as M M Vijayan (50) of Eramam Kizhakkekara and P K Rathish (40) of Eramam Ulloor. The accident happened near the Anganwadi in Mechira Padi. Both were found lying unconscious on the road. Locals rushed them to Pariyaram Medical College, but their lives could not be saved.

On the other side of the road where the accident occurred, T P Sreedul (27) was lying down after a bike accident. He has been admitted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital with serious injuries. Police say it is not clear whether the two died in a bike collision. Sreedul told police that he met with the accident when he veered his bike after seeing the two lying on the road.
