Santhy Balachandran made her acting debut in 2017 with the film ‘Tharangam’ but started to make her presence felt with her performances in movies such as ‘Jallikattu’, ‘Aaha’, ‘Chathuram’ and ‘Papam Chyathavar Kalleriyatte’.
Santhy’s continuous efforts in cinema have now paid dividends through the movie Lokah. The film left many stunned, while the added awe came after many recognised that it was Santhy who co-wrote the script.
Amidst the big praise, Santhy appeared on social media with a quirky post reminding directors and casting directors that she is still an actress and craves roles in movies. Santhy shared the note along with a video showing scenes from her various films. The actress has expressed her desire to be considered more in films.
“I’m making the most of the interactions my profile grabbed in recent days after Lokah’s massive success. I’m using it to bring attention to casting directors and movie directors, if possible, to consider me in roles which they deem will suit me. I’m an actress at the end of the day. I can speak Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and English fluently. I also know Telugu. If you have any interesting roles that I can audition for, please email me. Thank you,” wrote Santhy Balachandran.
