The pooja function of Drishyam 3, a sequel to the series of Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph was held today. The function was held in the S N Law College at Poothotta in Ernakulam. The plan is to complete the shoot of the film Drishyam 3 produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas in 55 days. Mohanlal said that he hopes the fans who accepted the first two parts will also embrace this. He said this after the function while talking to the media.

‘The shoot of Drishyam 3 is beginning. This film should be shot without any difficulties. I pray that the film becomes a box office hit. I pray that the fans who were captivated by the first and second series will be charmed by the third. Mohanlal said that he would be travelling to New Delhi after this. On his role as George Kutty in Drishyam 3, he said, ‘No doubt George Kutty will create some trouble. But I have been told not to reveal much. The suspense is the excitement and catch of Drishyam 3.’

The first part of the film Drishyam hit the theaters in 2013. The film, which was written by Jeethu Joseph himself and released, became the best hit of all time in Malayalam. Later, after eight years, the second part was released on Amazon Prime in 2021. The team is trying to bring the third part to the theaters in March.
