PATHANAMTHITTA: Preparations have begun in Nilakkal, Pamba and Sannidhanam to welcome President Droupadi Murmu, who will visit Sabarimala on the 22nd of this month. It is reported that the Indian President will climb the holy hill with the Irumudikettu on October 22. Five dollies will be prepared to continue the journey in case she gets tired. The dolly carriers will be selected as per the instructions of the President's security officers. The PBG team is likely to reach Sabarimala this week. In 1973, President V. V. The President is expected to land in Nilakkal from Nedumbassery Airport by helicopter. Pathanamthitta Police Chief R Anand led a visit to the Nilakkal helipad on Monday. The Devaswom instructed the Public Works Department officials to cut down the trees around the helipad. The Public Works Guest House in Pamba was renovated to accommodate the Chief Minister ahead of the Ayyappa Conclave. The President will rest here.

Minister V.N. Vasavan said that the government received information that President Droupadi Murmu will visit Sabarimala on the 22nd. The President, who will land at Nedumbassery, will reach Sannidhanam from there. After resting in the guest house, she will have darshan at 4 pm. After that, she will leave for Thiruvananthapuram. On the 23rd, the President will attend the Platinum Jubilee celebration at St. Thomas College, Pala and then leave for Delhi.
