Many content creators can now be seen on the streets seeking the opinion of people on a broad range of issues, which they later upload to their pages for personal gain. A north Indian content creator was similarly sauntering the streets looking for opinion when he barged upon a Malayali student. The video is now going viral on social media.
The North Indian YouTuber was asking people whether they knew the legend associated with the festival of Diwali. He repeated the same question to the Malayali girl, but she confessed not knowing the answer. Then the YouTuber asked the girl to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ which she denied, leaving the youngster stunned and bewildered.

The video was shared by a page called Hindutva Vigilant. The caption asks, "The girl from Kerala doesn't want to chant Jai Shri Ram, what's the reason?"
The social media leaned towards the Malayali girl in support, as many said that she had the nerve to ignore the chant, which many dub as a ‘murder cry’ in contemporary India. Meanwhile, a few others critiqued the girl for being haughty towards a seemingly unassuming YouTuber.
