THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swapna Suresh, the accused in a gold smuggling case, has reacted to the news that the ED had given a summons notice to the Chief Minister's son Vivek Kiran in 2023 in connection with the money laundering case. Swapna Suresh said that everything will come out if the ED interrogates the son and daughter properly. Swapna's response was through a Facebook post. Swapna added that the father knows that very well, which is why he did not release the two, and for that to happen, the father has to be dethroned.

"In 2018, I went to meet the captain with my old boss, the UAE Consul General. The meeting was held at the captain's official residence. There, the captain father introduced his son to the Consul General and told him that his son was working in a bank in the UAE and that he wanted to buy a star hotel in the UAE at a reasonable price and asked the Consul General to provide him with the necessary assistance," Swapna said.

Swapna also asked if the son, who is a bank officer, could buy a star hotel in the UAE, to which she herself replied that it is possible if there is black money made by the father, mother and sister by abusing their position as a father. Saying that more truths will come out in the coming days, Swapna ends the Facebook post with the note, "Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa."
