CHERTHALA: Thoughts of Sree Narayana Guru should reach every home and heart, said SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan. He was speaking at a 'Sarthakam' function organised by the Yogam Kendra Vanitha Sangh at the Kanichukulangara temple grounds to honour Vellappally Natesan, who has completed 30 years as the leader of SNDP Yogam and 62 years as the leader of Kanichukulangara Devaswom.

The Thiruvathira presentation of Gurudeva's works was a historic event. He praised the Homa mantra Mahayajna held on the occasion of the centenary of the Homa mantra composed by Guru.

"While the entire state of Kerala was in crisis due to thunder and rain, the area where more than 5,000 women had prepared Homa Kundam remained peaceful and beautiful due to the blessings of Sree Narayana Guru and Kanichukulangara Devi," said Vellappally.

Led by Kendra Vanitha Sangham Secretary Adv Sangeetha Viswanathan, the members honoured Vellappally by donning a turban. Kendra Vanitha Sangham President KP Krishnakumari presided. SN Trust Board Member Preethi Natesan lit the Bhadradeepam. SNDP Yogam President Dr MN Soman delivered the blessing speech. Devaswom Secretary Arayakandy Santhosh delivered the Homa mantra message. Karnataka Kudroli Gokarnanatheshwara Temple Poojarini Indirabai was the special guest. Kanichukulangara Temple Thantri, Dr. Shibu, gave the explanation of the yajna.
