ALAPPUZHA: Minister Saji Cherian has made his stance clear regarding the controversy surrounding G Sudhakaran. He said that Sudhakaran is his leader and that he has never advised or opposed him in any way.

“What Sudhakaran sir said is correct. He has no misunderstanding about me. The media should not create any misunderstanding between us. If there is any issue, we will talk and resolve it,” Saji Cherian said.

He also added that G. Sudhakaran remains an important part of the party and will continue to lead from the front. “Sudhakaran sir will take part in all party programs,” Saji Cherian told reporters.

Earlier, G. Sudhakaran had openly criticised Saji Cherian, alleging that the minister had tried to expel him from the party and that some members even celebrated his supposed removal by bursting crackers. Sudhakaran had demanded party action against Saji Cherian, saying, “It is the party that should speak well about me. Saji Cherian’s group even tried to push me toward the BJP. No one has ever won a fight against me. I am speaking from the soil of Punnapra and Vayalar.”
