PALAKKAD: In a fit of rage, a man hacked his wife to death. The shocking incident happened at Pallanchathanur in Palakkad. Vasu of Pollappadam killed his wife Indira aged 60. Vasu attacked Indira amidst a verbal dispute. Indira sustained serious injuries and died on the spot itself.

Family issues are suspected to be behind the attack. The police have taken Vasu into custody.
