Three women drown in swimming pool of private beach resort 

MANGALORE: Three women drowned in the swimming pool of a private beach resort in Mangalore. The dead have been identified as M D Nishitha (21), S Parvathi (20) and N Keerthana (21), natives of Mysuru. The incident happened Sunday morning at 10:30 am. The incident happened in a private beach resort near Uchila Beach, on the outskirts of Mangalore.

The three women checked into the room yesterday morning. One of the women may have slipped and drowned and the other two may have drowned while trying to save her. The pool has a depth of up to six feet on one side. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
