KOCHI: Actress Lakshmipriya has strongly denied the allegations made by actress Ansiba Hasan, claiming that her statement about being detained at a police station for three hours is completely false. Lakshmipriya said she possesses digital evidence to prove her claims and has already submitted it to the police.

Speaking to the media before giving her statement to the police, Lakshmipriya said that she was forced to file a complaint because Ansiba had sent WhatsApp messages that affected her family life.

"It was because of the WhatsApp messages sent by Ansiba that I had to approach the police. Both of us were at the police station for exactly one hour, 17 minutes and 20 seconds. I know this precisely. I have handed over digital evidence related to everything that happened at the station that day to the police. Despite repeatedly asking for an explanation regarding the inappropriate messages, Ansiba was not willing to provide a clear response," Lakshmipriya said.

She added that she pursued legal action only after the issue began affecting her family. "There are no hidden agendas or outside influences behind this complaint. In a personal dispute between two individuals, there is no need for AMMA, the actors' association, to intervene," she said.

Meanwhile, Ansiba has submitted a complaint to the Chief Minister against Thrippunithura Women's SI Reshma. She alleged that her message was misinterpreted and that she was summoned to the police station and subjected to mental harassment. Ansiba further claimed that there was a larger conspiracy behind Lakshmipriya's complaint and alleged that she was illegally detained and threatened at the police station.
