'Need a committee comprising Pisharody, Dhyan and Maala Parvathi'; cannot accept Ansiba's demand, says Kukku Parameswaran
KOCHI: The actors’ association AMMA is unlikely to consider the demand raised by actress Ansiba, who resigned from the post of joint secretary following internal issues within the organisation. Ansiba had requested the formation of a special committee to hear her complaint. However, AMMA general secretary Kukku Parameswaran said the organisation cannot function according to the demands of individual members.
Ansiba had asked for a committee comprising Ramesh Pisharody, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Mala Parvathy to hear her complaint. In a letter sent to the AMMA leadership, she also requested that if any of them were unavailable or unwilling to serve, alternative members should be selected only after consulting her.
The AMMA leadership had earlier decided to hear Ansiba’s side regarding her complaint against actor Tini Tom. She has been asked to appear before the leadership in the first week of June. Ansiba had levelled serious allegations through the media against AMMA executive members Tini Tom and Lakshmipriya. She alleged that Tini Tom spread false stories about her and portrayed her as a "jihadi" involved in religious conversion activities. Ansiba also accused Lakshmi Priya of dragging her into a police station by using her family issues against her.
