‘Will stand firmly behind Pinarayi’: KT Jaleel dismisses rumours of political shift
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Kerala minister K.T. Jaleel has firmly dismissed ongoing social media speculation regarding his political future, reaffirming his absolute allegiance to the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the CPI(M). In a detailed Facebook post, Jaleel stated that shortcomings are inherent to human nature and expressed absolute confidence that the party would rectify any lapses. "Flaws and shortcomings are natural to humans, and the party will correct its mistakes. Leaders and workers will overcome these errors to rise like a phoenix and safeguard secularism," he wrote, adding that the party remains committed to resisting both majority and minority communalism. Addressing rumours of a potential political shift, the former minister categorised the reports circulating online as completely baseless. He emphasised his unwavering loyalty to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, drawing a historical parallel to the legendary warriors Unni Moosa and Athan Kurikkal, who fought alongside Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja. "Even at the cost of my life, I will not betray those who placed their trust in me. I will stand firmly with the party through victories and defeats alike," Jaleel asserted, concluding his statement by declaring that he would continue his public life strictly within the socialist fold.
